Annette Abaci

With post-secondary degrees in economic science and mechanical engineering, Annette Abaci initially worked part-time at Mercedes-Benz and EMA GmbH during her academic studies. She continued with EMA GMbH (a milling company specializing in high precision production parts for Mercedes Benz) after graduation and was promoted to CEO several years later. Her successful tenure at EMA saw her not only purchase the company in 1993, but also expand the business sevenfold. Annette then decided to follow her passion for vintage automobiles; selling the company in 2003, and joining a German classic car dealership. Fluent in English, French, Turkish and German, Annette joined RM Auctions’ European office in 2006, where she has been integral to the establishment, organization and success of RM’s Ferrari: Leggenda e Passione and Automobiles of London auctions. Annette has a strong passion for German automobiles, with a specialty in prewar marques. In addition, she continues to build her own impressive personal collection, including a Brabham BT36 and several Jaguar X120s.
 
Jack Boxstrom

Racing and Sports Car Specialist Jack Boxstrom joined RM Auctions in early 1997 in order to assist with the recently acquired and subsequently record-breaking Monterey Sports Car Auction. His positive impact was felt immediately, thanks to his extensive experience in the business, entertainment and automotive sectors. Establishing RM's successful Vintage Motor Cars at Amelia Island Auction in 1999, Boxstrom has regularly consigned examples of the world's leading marques during his twelve years with the firm. Having his own extensive collection of vintage racing cars, including a Chaparral 1, Jack has enjoyed a four decade long road-racing career. With an impressive knowledge about classic cars as well, Jack Boxstrom is considered to be a leading expert in the collector car auction world.
 
Gord Duff

Car Specialist Gord Duff joined RM Auctions in 1998, responsible for auction, restoration and sales transportation and logistics. Over time his role expanded to include overseeing the operational aspects of the design and execution of RM’s North American auction events. It was through these professional capacities that he fostered close relationships with RM clients and developed an extensive technical familiarity with virtually every vintage marque. Recently, Gord transitioned into the Car Specialist department, where he continues to assist clients through his impressive firsthand experience and familiarity with vintage automobiles. Appreciative of all eras, Gord has a special affinity for prewar classics, including Duesenbergs and Packards.
 
Mike Fairbairn

As one of the three founding partners of RM Auctions Inc., Mike Fairbairn has a longstanding interest in the classic car industry. Graduating from the University of Alberta with a degree in Commerce, Mike began his career while still a student by restoring, and subsequently selling, older American cars. With a major in Marketing and a minor in Computing Science, Mike engaged in several entrepreneurial ventures that facilitated his growing passion for collecting vintage automobiles. He now possesses a modest but interesting personal collection of cars and motorcycles that span a wide range of eras. As one of RM’s most experienced and knowledgeable Car Specialists, Mike’s primary area of interest is prewar American and European classics, along with interesting postwar sports cars. A true gearhead, Mike has many additional motorized interests outside the world of cars; he is a licensed pilot, as well as holding captain’s papers for sail and power boats.
 
Max Girardo

Max Girardo started his career in the vintage automobile industry in 1998, joining Brooks Auctioneers (now Bonhams) as a Car Specialist in the company’s Geneva office. Building a solid reputation in classic car circles, Max quickly progressed within the company, becoming a Director of Bonhams Europe S.A.. Max joined RM Auctions, Inc. in 2006, opening the company’s first European branch. As Managing Director of RM’s European office, Max has been responsible for unprecedented sales in Europe and the United Kingdom, including the remarkable Ferrari: Legenda e Passione held at the Ferrari headquarters in Maranello, Italy, as well as RM’s record-breaking Automobiles of London auction, featuring the esteemed collection of Mr. Bernie Ecclestone. Max is fluent in English, French, Spanish and Italian.
 
Donnie Gould

Donnie Gould joined the RM team in 2002 as a partner and Southeast Car Specialist after more than two decades in the vintage automobile auction and restoration industries. Donnie’s vast knowledge of classic cars stems from learning firsthand from his father, Tiny Gould, one of the first full-time antique automobile dealers in the country, and a pioneer in the field. Donnie has played an integral role in developing RM’s Florida auction presence and continues to generate impressive results at RM’s Collector Cars of Fort Lauderdale and Automobiles of Amelia auctions. An experienced Vintage Cup racer, Donnie has a strong familiarity with a wide variety of vintage marques, with a particular specialization in Shelby Mustangs and Ford Performance Products.
 
Ian Kelleher

Ian Kelleher began his automotive career following his formative education, graduating with a B.A from Oberlin College in Political Science. As the son of an automotive engineer, he followed his roots and began his tenure in the auction industry at Christie’s working as a specialist in the Motor Car Department. In 2000, Ian joined RM Auctions and immediately assisted in the continued development of the company’s auction catalogues, marketing and corporate image. Over the years Ian has overseen most of the estate and private collection auctions such as Carail, The Gene Ponder Collection, The John McMullen Collection, The Art Astor Collection and Joe’s Garage. He has also managed RM’s frequent forays into different areas of collecting, such as the unique Brucker Collection of Kustom Kulture icons.
 
Keith Koscak

Keith Koscak joined the RM Auctions team in 2009 as a Car Specialist. With a post-secondary degree in political science from the University of Michigan, Keith has worked in a variety of roles involving collector cars over the years, including the management of a private collection for which he was responsible for the acquisition of over $6 million in cars. A life-long auto aficionado, his passion for fine automobiles started early in life, particularly when a family friend allowed Keith to help prep collector cars for various shows and concours events around the country. Keith has been a familiar face at RM events over the past nine years, assisting with the line-up and deepening his knowledge and experience of the auction business and collector car hobby. While Keith is most experienced with muscle cars, Corvettes, and 50's and 60's classics, his favourite cars range from pre-war classics to vintage race cars and Ferraris.
 
Rob Myers

As founder of the RM group of companies, Rob Myers’ entire career has been devoted to the classic car industry. Rob started his first restoration shop in a one-car garage in Chatham, Ontario; quickly developing a powerful reputation and strong following among car collectors across Canada and the United States. As Rob’s reputation grew, so did his business, eventually partnering with Mike Fairbairn and Dan Warrener to expand their services and facilities beyond restoration into sales and auctions. Rob also has a strong interest in motorcycles, owning an impressive collection in addition to his notable assortment of classic cars. Rob’s strong entrepreneurial spirit and incredible business acumen led him to not only build a state-of-the-art Harley Davidson dealership in Chatham-Kent, but also renovate and restore a dilapidated section of historic downtown Chatham, transforming it into the Retro Suites, a stunning boutique hotel.

Now President and CEO of RM Auctions Inc., Rob has successfully built his company into the world’s leading vintage automobile auction house, with offices across North America as well as a recent expansion into Europe, encompassing approximately 100 staff. Rob’s understanding of classic cars is unparalleled, and he continues to play a significant role as a Car Specialist for RM.

Having graduated from Mount Allison University with a degree in accounting and economics, and with a wealth of direct experience, Shelby has most recently played an integral role in the continued success of our European operations.
 
Stefano Paracchi

Joining RM Auctions in 2006 as a Car Specialist, Stefano brings with him years of experience in the European vintage motor car market. A journalist and photographer for Italian classic car magazines since the early 1990s, he divides his time between Monaco and Italy, where he maintains his own collection of classics. From 1997-2001, Paracchi was an Italian Representative with Brooks Europe Auctioneers (now Bonhams). Though he specializes in prewar Italian automobiles, his knowledge spans Italian cars of all eras. Stefano contributed to the Italian translation of the 2007 and 2008 Ferrari: Leggenda e Passione auction catalogs, and consigned a prestigious collection of seven Lancias to the 2008 Automobiles of London event. Fluent in Italian, French and English, he is a consultant of the Mille Miglia organization.
 
Don Rose

Car Specialist Don Rose has been trading sports and classic cars professionally since 2001, becoming a noted importer of European classics while living in London, England. Now residing in the Boston area, Don serves as Vice-Chairman of the Aston Martin Owners Club North America and Editor Emeritus of its acclaimed magazine, The Vantage Point. With his own personal collection of historic race cars, Don has extensive and direct knowledge of these marques, having participated in a variety of road rally events such as the Carrera Panamericana and the Mille Miglia of Argentina (Mil Millas). With his wide-ranging knowledge of the vintage automobile market, Don has also served as an expert witness for cases involving classic car valuations. Don joined RM Auctions, Inc. in 2006.
 
Alain Squindo

Alain Squindo joined RM’s Cataloging Department after graduating from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. with a B.A. in History. He has written for most RM publications since and has been active in the cataloging of private collections as well. Alain now serves as Editor in Chief, managing and coordinating all writing for the Marketing Department, both online and in print. Born and raised in Zürich, Switzerland, he has also lived in Miami, Florida and is now based in Alexandria, Virginia. He is fluent in German, Swiss-German and Spanish and has an affinity for European sports cars and the Ferrari, Porsche, Jaguar and Ford marques in particular.
 
Ken Wallace

Ken Wallace joined RM in 1999 as General Manager and Car Specialist responsible for the establishment and management of RM’s Michigan office and showroom in Ypsilanti. With close to twenty years in the restoration business working for an esteemed private collector who focused primarily on Pierce Arrows, Packards, Corvettes, Shelbys and Ferraris, Wallace’s impressive knowledge of many classic marques makes him an integral part of RM’s Car Specialist team. Born and raised in the enthusiastic classic car climate of California, Wallace has made a significant contribution to the vintage automobile sector in the Midwest, primarily through his important role as Sales Manager of the Classic Car Auction of Michigan, held every spring in Novi, Michigan.
 
Peter Wallman

Peter Wallman joined RM Auction's European Division in 2007 following nearly two decades in the international advertising industry, based out of New York, London and Milan. It was in Milan that Peter gained experience buying and selling collector cars, learning to speak fluent Italian in the process. As an RM Car Specialist, Peter was responsible for consigning a superb single owner collection of twenty motor cars from Italy for the inaugural and record-breaking Automobiles of London auction. A dedicated collector of vintage automobiles including his daily driver, a 1961 Gunmetal Grey Jaguar E-Type FHC, Peter has extensive knowledge of British sports cars.
 
Dan Warrener

Possessing an economics degree from Brandon University, Dan Warrener spent the initial stages of his career working around the globe in the oil and gas industry, combining his longtime interests of world travel and business development. It was during this period that he began collecting and trading in vintage automobiles. Dan joined the RM sales team in 1987 after engaging in numerous classic car transactions with RM Auctions’ founder, Rob Myers. Dan became a partner in 1989 and one of the three founders of RM Auctions Inc. in 1992, successfully guiding the company’s growth from a small restoration and sales facility to a world leader in the vintage automobile auction sector. As one of RM’s most experienced and knowledgeable Car Specialists, Dan plays an instrumental role in consigning notable classic automobiles to RM’s auctions across North America. Dan possesses an impressive knowledge of classic cars, with a broad overall knowledge of the market combined with specific expertise in pre and postwar SS and Jaguar sports and racing cars. Outside the world of cars, Dan is active in preserving and restoring historic buildings and collecting interesting archeological artifacts.
 
Max Werner

Max Werner joined RM Auctions’ European Division in 2009 as a consignment specialist. Born and raised in Germany, Max is a lifelong vintage racing car enthusiast having grown up surrounded by a variety of different automobiles, including an Alfa Romeo 8C and a Ferrari 250 GT SWB. A passionate racer, he started racing Go Karts at age 14 before going on to participate in a variety of vintage car racing events, including the European Historic Touring Car Championship and the Shell Ferrari Historic Challenge. Max has extensive knowledge of 1950s and 1960s Ferrari and Maserati racing cars, having spent time working in vintage automotive sales. His experience also includes providing driving lessons and helping customers with the set up of their racing cars. Max is fluent in German, English and French and holds a post-secondary degree in economics from Calw University.
