Gord joined RM Auctions in 1998, initially responsible for the transportation and logistics of the company’s auction and restoration divisions. Through these professional capacities, he fostered close relationships with RM clients and developed an extensive technical familiarity with virtually every vintage marque. This naturally led to a transition into the Car Specialist Department, where Gord utilizes the knowledge he has acquired from his various roles at RM, as well as from growing up with his father, a car dealer for over 50 years. An active participant in the hobby, Gord regularly competes in a number of historic rallies, including the Copperstate 1000 and the Colorado Grand. Appreciative and knowledgeable of all marques and eras, Gord specializes in European sports cars, Shelbys, and Cobras, and he has a special affinity for American pre-war classics, including Duesenbergs and Packards.
