Vinnie Mandzak joined RM Auctions’ California office in 2012 as a car specialist, following more than 30 years’ experience at Mercedes-Benz of Beverly Hills. During his tenure at Mercedes-Benz, Vinnie “The Car Man” worked closely with Hollywood and Beverly Hills’ finest, and he coordinated the renowned “Classics for Charity” car show for 16 years. A lifelong automotive enthusiast, he is fully immersed in the collector car hobby via a broad range of memberships and activities. He is an active member of the Petersen Museum’s Checkered Flag Club, the Mercedes-Benz Club of North America, the Vintage Auto Racing Association, and the American Motorcycle Association. He is also on the planning committees for the prestigious Rodeo Drive Concours d’Elegance and the Greystone Mansion Concours d’Elegance, of which Vinnie was one of the original founders. Beyond these activities, Vinnie nurtures a love for speed, regularly participating in a variety of off-road events in California’s AMA District 37 Series. His passion for racing saw him assume the position of race organizer for the 2010 Red Bull Catalina Grand Prix, a historic motorcycle racing event originally held from 1951 to 1958. While Vinnie has extensive knowledge of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, as he puts it, “If you cut my arm, I bleed silver,” he also has a special appreciation for smart cars, microcars, and classic sports and racing cars, including Ferraris and vintage Corvettes.
